Mobility Aid Priority Space Stickers – Wheelchair Access Bus & Public Transport Signs

Price from $8.95 per pair – Standard Self-Adhesive Vinyl with UV Laminate Overlay

Clearly identify wheelchair and mobility aid priority spaces on buses and public transport vehicles with these professional Mobility Aid Priority Space Stickers from Westside Graphics.

Designed for installation adjacent to designated wheelchair and mobility aid allocated spaces, these blue and white accessibility signs help passengers recognise that the area is reserved as a priority for people using mobility aids and must be vacated when required.

Each pack contains matching left-hand and right-hand designs, featuring opposite-facing wheelchair pictograms for flexible installation on either side of a vehicle.

Australian Public Transport Accessibility Requirements – October 2026

The Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport 2002 were amended on 13 October 2026, introducing updated accessibility requirements for Australian public transport operators and providers.

Section 9.1B – Information must be provided: priority access of allocated spaces requires signage associated with an allocated space to clearly communicate that:

  • The allocated space is provided as a priority for a person using a mobility aid.

  • Other passengers must vacate the allocated space when it is required by a person using a mobility aid.

Our Mobility Aid Priority Space stickers are designed to communicate this priority arrangement using a recognisable wheelchair symbol and clear written instructions.

The amendments also address the legibility, contrast and positioning of transport signage under Part 17. Operators and vehicle manufacturers should assess the selected sticker size, mounting location, visibility and contrast against the applicable requirements before installation.

Important: These stickers are designed with reference to the Australian Transport Standards. Regulatory compliance depends on the complete installation and vehicle application; compliance is not certified solely by purchasing a sticker.
