The Westside Graphics Photoluminescent Emergency Exit Handle Sticker is a specialist self-illuminating emergency identification decal developed for bus, coach and minibus interiors, helping passengers identify an emergency exit operating point when normal interior lighting is reduced or unavailable.
Unlike a standard printed emergency exit sticker, this product is manufactured using specialist photoluminescent material. The material absorbs energy from available light and releases stored energy as a visible afterglow when surrounding light levels fall.
This passive illumination requires no batteries, wiring or electrical connection. When suitably exposed to light beforehand, the photoluminescent background can remain visible during darkness or reduced-light conditions, helping the emergency exit identification and operating pictogram stand out from the surrounding vehicle interior.
Emergency Exit Handle Identification
The design combines clear EMERGENCY EXIT wording with a simple handle-operation pictogram, providing visual identification around emergency door, hatch or window operating mechanisms.
This makes the sticker particularly suitable as a replacement emergency exit decal for minibuses, buses and coaches where an existing emergency handle identification sticker has become faded, damaged, missing or difficult to see.
The compact square format also makes it suitable for installation close to emergency handles and operating mechanisms where the larger rectangular emergency exit decals may not be practical.
